SQL AuditPro is a utility for generating a data audit trail framework in your database. Database integrity is assured by prudent design of tables, relations and triggers. Data auditing, however, requires a different kind of planning and design in order to identify and correct operator errors. SQL AuditPro streamlines the process of creating an auditing framework for data changes within your database.

Description

SQL AuditPro supports two paradigms for data content integrity – Shadow Tables and Vertical Tables. Shadow Tables create a single tracking table for each database table being audited, while a Vertical Table uses a single table to track changes in all covered tables. The two approaches may be used simultaneously, although not covering the same tables.

Auditing is implemented by the creation of appropriate triggers.

In addition, SQL AuditPro allows you to create a master audit switch for covered tables, so that auditing can be temporarily suppressed for such activities as bulk data loading.

Generated scripts are stored in a user-specified directory for review, customization, source control and execution.
